The Hummingbird Whoop RaceSpec V2 AIO Flight Controller with ExpressLRS (ELRS) 2.4G and SmartMax VTX is the next-generation evolution of our elite racing flight controller platform. Built for competitive FPV racers, this board refines the already impressive V3.1 RaceSpec with major improvements in power handling, stability, and durability—all without adding extra weight.

At the heart of the V2 is the upgraded AT32F4 MCU running at 216MHz. While it may seem like a downgrade from the previous 288MHz version, this change is intentional—delivering better system stability and more consistent performance during high-stress race conditions.

The all-new double N-channel MOSFET ESC design provides up to 18A per channel, a significant upgrade from the previous N+P setup, offering higher efficiency and cooler operation. Pre-flashed with Bluejay firmware, the ESCs are ready to deliver ultra-smooth throttle response right out of the box.

To further optimize for weight and durability, the board removes the onboard USB port, replacing it with a lightweight USB-C adapter for configuration. This design choice minimizes potential failure points during crashes and saves critical grams for racing performance.

The integrated SmartMax VTX features adjustable output up to 400mW, with built-in thermal regulation to protect your board while maximizing signal strength when it matters most. It also provides a precise and race-legal 25mW setting, so you’ll never get disqualified for excess VTX power during sanctioned events.

A major upgrade comes in the form of the new UART-based ExpressLRS 2.4GHz receiver with ceramic SMT antenna. This lightweight, durable configuration supports race mode and Wi-Fi tuning, giving pilots ultimate control. Note: This receiver uses an ESP8285 chip, which is no longer part of the official ELRS guideline, so manual firmware updates are required.

For pro builders, the V2 drops motor plugs entirely and features enlarged solder pads—ensuring maximum reliability through direct-solder connections. Reverse polarity protection is also added to help prevent accidents from mismatched power leads.

Pair this with the new BeeEye V2 camera, Betaflight 4.5.1 RacePro firmware, and a compact 25.5x25.5mm mounting footprint—and the Hummingbird RaceSpec V2 AIO Flight Controller is ready to dominate your next heat.
